Please add usual functions of a chess computer

I miss the usual functions of a chess computer with the Certabo software, including position evaluation, display of the mainline, etc. I would also like to use Certabo for analysis but it lacks all the functions for that.

I had email contact with Pietro today:

"We have released the 3.5 version we focused on adding the possibility to launch Lichess from it but main stuff we went under huge redesign of the the structure now. All is running on python3 now we optimised the serial reading multi platform and several other things.
Now with latest release of python-chess there are huge possibilities. We waited a bit for implementing the analysis window but now with python3 and latest python-chess release it will be quite cool and powerful. We know it is missing feature but we are implementing right now.

We will release the 3.7 version very soon. You will have on all version for PC till DaVinci Stockfish running in parallel analysing in realtime the board position making proper evaluation and analysis like on standard tournament game.
This requires a lot of optimisation as will take a lot of computing power as you have the main engine you play against and stockfish runnining strongly in parallel for making the analysis. But the result will be quite cool we think.

I will update as soon as we have some news."

After my experiences with certabo so far we will not have to wait long until some things we wish for are implemented.

Hi guys thanks Franz for updating.

Yes it looked the best and modern way to integrate it. We should have stockfish making analysis and evaluating dynamically the position.

Now the 3.5 has integration with Lichess API so it get quite coupled, what we are going to do is making a subset for integrating the main software with analysis and make simple exectutable code for testing will send to you so can get your feedback.

Write me in pm so will create a list for testing.

p.s.

Cameron we have almost finished integration of Lichess Api on Certabodroid so will be able to play from phone too  😉 will make beta testing for that too.
