Tournament?

What about to have tournaments again, should be fun play with all Certabo owners. Also more fun when time is equal.

Maybe if we share usernames on Chess.com and lichess here so we can add friends and play when someone is online?

Dear Kimtell78,

I think it is a good idea to exchange user names. My username at lichess is CordobaChess.

I am a member of the certabo chess club (lichess) but not a very active one, specially because the timing of the tournaments didn't fit with my commitments with my family and with my job. I was wondering today whether it would be possible to motivate more certabo mates to join that community not only for monthly tournaments but maybe also for spontaneous games or even spontaneous tournaments.

Lichess Certabo Club owner here. Hello gentlemen.

I tried organising monthly tournaments on and off over 18 months but never managed to average more than three participants. One month I had to move house and didn't organise one, and that was that. Believe me, I tried.

Location of participants was always going to be an issue and as we can see it stopped who knows how many people playing? I'm on the opposite side of the world to nearly everyone so finding a time to suit everyone simply wasn't possible.

Maybe we can try again if anyone is interested.
