Certabo in Fritz and Chessbase

I have finally been able to add support to my drivers for Fritz and Chessbase, but only the 64 bit versions: Fritz 15 and above and Chessbase 13 and above. And because they load the driver from the Windows\System32 folder installation is a bit messier. Playing games, making take backs, setting up positions and replaying games from the database all seem to work OK.

I don't understand the instructions. I don't know if I have to install Rabbit or not, or use another app that I don't know where it's downloaded from or what's going on with this. It seems chaotic to me. I'll wait for step-by-step instructions to make it work.

Did you really read the manual ? Its so easy to understand. If you don‘t have installed rabbit, you don‘t need it. Only copy the two files gon-CER64.dll and gon-ZZZ64.dll in the windows/system32 directory.

If you use different eboards, than you should use the dllmanager. You can download it also from Grahams site.

I tried to follow the manual, but I am confused by the table where it mentions the dll DGTEBDLL64.dll, which belongs to the rabbit app.

Anyway, I have gon-CER64.dll and gon-ZZZ64.dll in the system32 folder and the DGT box is not selected in Fritz. I have plugged and unplugged the usb cable and no luck. The only difference is that I use Fritz and Chessbase on Steam, but I guess it should work the same.

now rename the gon-cer64.dll file to DGTEBDLL64.dll

if you only use the certabo board it should work for it after renaming

if you use rabbit and/or other boards, Grahams dll-manager would do the renamimg for you

but if you only use a certabo board you can rename the file manually
