Hi,

just to inform all users. I am currently working on version 1.4.0. This will contain many bug fixes and support for opening books (Arena and Polyglot) when you playing against a configured UCI engine within the Certabo engine.

I think I will release the new version at the end of February 2020.

@bryan-whitby for the records, certabo-uci.py works fine with BanksiaGUI.

Hi Bryan,

anyway, with the extraordinary behaviour the BanksiaGUI is a nice program to test my engine 🙂

Version 1.4.0 will fix a lot of bugs.

Hi Bryan,

I could make the behavior more robust with two engine instances. With version 1.4 (which I will release in the next days), it should work.

I am sure that we will then also find the reason why you will not be able to connect with the chess board.

Hi,

I have released version 1.4.0.

Mainly some errors are corrected and opening books (Arena and Polyglot) are supported. More details in the included PDF file.

Hi,

I have released version 1.4.1

There was a major bug for long castling. The rook was internally set to an invalid square.

The download page no longer has 1.4.1 available. Every download defaults to 1.4...
