How to force an engine move

Hi all,

I would like to test some openings and it would help if I could force a computer move (e.g. engine wants to move a black pawn in h4 as a response to my move, I want the engine to accept the move of a black pawn to h3 and go on from there). I can do this by quitting the game and start a new game using board position. Is there a more smooth way to do this?

I use a DaVinci chess module 4Gb Ram 16Gb 1,5Ghz newly bought.

Thanks,

Carlo

Hello Carlo

If you want to play on the board with engine assistance to check manually some variations or openings. You can select human game and play normally inputting both white and black move and at anytime click on hint to see possible variations or try different openings.

Hope this helps with your analysis.

All the best

Pietro
