iPhone without Pi?

Sorry, one more question: can I connect a Certabo to an iPhone/iPad without having a Raspberry Pi computer?

Hi sure

The board cannot directly  connect to iPad or iPhone yet, as they do not allow many devices to be hooked and powered over usb by OTG adapter like android. The way to connect is over Bluetooth. We are having Bluetooth dongle out during this month this will allow to connect over BT to Pc pi and other platform little after to our android  CertabOdroid, anyhow we will need also to make proper app for Ios which for we do not have firm date yet.
