Recommended way of cleaning a Certabo board?

What is the recommended cleaning method of cleaning a Certabo. I worry about spraying any kind of cleaning liquid on the board due to the lights.  Would wipes used for cleaning computer screens work ok?

Hello Cpuchess

It depends on the model

  1.  (Your model) For the Fazio, Lucien Angel model with a solid wood hard top  like you have they are treated by wax.  So the best way if you want to refresh surface is to use beeswax with soft tissue you can just apply it gently with circular movement for best results.
  2. For silkscreened model like Vittoria, Ida Nicole, Aurora Edward those have a water based protective coating so every few years you can just wipe away the dust and eventually reapply an hand of transparent water based varnishing with brush.
  3. For Curzio there is no special procedure as they have even different coating you can just remove the dust with soft tissue.

Hope this helps you shall apply the n.1 in your specific case

All the best

Pietro
