RFID chip sizes

Hello,

Could you please tell the diameter size of the chips ? Is it a one-size-fits-all ?

Hello Hugo

The diameter is 20mm and thickness is about 1 mm, and there is a single size as standard for each pieces. Each chip has a unique id so you can attach to any piece and when you place on the initial position on the board and run the setup all the id are read and A1 read will be White rook etc.

You do not need to run again the setup unless you want to reconfigure your set. We actually have another size of chips which is 14 mm x 1 mm and is embedded in our small 2,5" sets those are naked one and can be only embedded in piece base.
