Wonderful Board! But a poor mobile app support for chess.com and lichess.org

Hi,

I love the Curzio Ebony Maple with all my heart and I enjoy playing it every day. It's not just a chess board, it really is a work of art from a crafting point of view!

...but...Why isn't there a reliable, smooth Android app that connects to chess.com and lichess.org. Of course there is WhitePawn, but the app still hangs in some places and doesn't always run smoothly. The Certabo online app for chess.com doesn't always run smoothly either.

Chessnut's app does that much better. Even the Millennium app runs very reliably on Android and IOS. That's so sad.

Please develop an Android app with a similar range of functions for chess.com and lichess.org, especially with regard to the new boards from TabuTronic.

Very hopeful with best regards,

Harry

Hello Harry

Thank you for your post and appreciation in the board 🙂 we got your point which helps in getting better. Yes we have not had a proper app for the board apart the modifed  version of droidish which we adapted to have as many as possible functions. We wanted to make a proper native app from scratch rather than keeping modifing another but the volume of development required honestly has always delayed it.

I think that instead having a simple app for just online is more feasible as the part of codes required is smaller and as you say that is probably the missing part, also because for offline game and analysis there are already far superior apps from Aart, Gerhard, Khadhim.

Will keep posted and thanks for expressing this need.

All the best and take care

Pietro
