Can't play black pieces from bottom when using PC

So I have the latest Certabo software installed (I just got my board two days ago) and I have been playing as white. Today I decided to change colors and play as black. However the software will absolutely not let me play as black from bottom even after selecting to "flipboard". I get a message to place the pieces which I have already done. If I don't flip the board and play as black from the top it works fine but I don't want to play as black from the top. It seems the only way I can play as black from the bottom is by physically rotating the board which is ridiculous.

I also have a Davinci Extreme module and that allows me to play black from the bottom just fine, the flipboard functionality works just as expected. So it seems like there is something wrong with the PC software. Any suggestions would be appreciated, thank you..

Hello

That is strange which version of the sofwtare are you using? Please check you have not done the calibration with the black on bottom.

Calibration shall be made just once with white on bottom (usb on right) then start new game select flip board and place black on bottom, that message appear if some pieces is missing at startup it could be also that simply there is a single piece offset too much so not detected at start-up.

I am not sure what happened but I did get it to work after I recalibrated with white at the bottom. I am sure I did something wrong, thanks..
