Playing with NANO

Hi,

I could play some games with the new NANO and it is very easy to use and is a nice companion to play a quick game of chess.

I'm thinking about taking the control with the queens and kings into BearChess as well.

i'm a bearchess user with certabo board but the nano become a serious challenger 🙂

Thank you for quick review actually i think that is good idea. Remote control with board especially when using BT it is quite convenient, at least for most used features and parameters settings. also Alain will definitively appreciate 🙂

Dear All

 

I Received the nano too and i confim lars review : quick setup and play as soon as the queens option control is understood.  Nano has the simplest option panel offered (level, b or w , human vs human or human vs engine, customized  setup). The purpose is to play quickly and it's a lighweight option to play everywhere with a small powerbank.

To have more options, bearchess (BT or usb) is welcome. (i prefer bearchess vs da vinci).

I tested a personnal raspberry 3 (with davinci), a personnal raspberry nano (for BT connection with berachess).

My setup will now be :

board + nano with BT + PC with bearchess for playing vs different engine and pgn record and game/pgn management

and

board + official certabo nano for quick game

 

i hope now for a improved version of certabo nano allowing BT connection or quick play 🙂
